So...this interveiw is with the man himself to tell you what he is all about.

LEE >when did you start out as an entertainer ?
DUSTY > in december 2003 as a stand in magician,because the booked magicians car broke down.
LEE > was you a working magician then ?
DUSTY > no...magic was just my long time hobby and i was at my sons pre-school concert....on hearing that the magician was unable to attend,instead of seeing lots of upset children i offered to stand in.
LEE > and how did that go ?
DUSTY >brilliant !....i loved every minute of it.
LEE > so what happened from there ?
DUSTY > i went down all the right channels to find out what it was you needed to become an entertainer.
LEE > like a C.R.B....insurance and entertainers lisence ?
DUSTY > thats right....and once i gained all those i began to advertise my services.
LEE> wasn't your father an entertainer?
DUSTY > he was...he was more of a puppeteer named UNCLE BERNIE and done this when he retired from work and did this until he passed away aged 67.
LEE > was he popular ?
DUSTY >yes he was...but it took a while to get noticed.
LEE > so you gained alot from your father ?
DUSTY > yes i did....just to be yourself and enjoy what you do.
LEE> so if i was a customer equiring about your shows what do you tell them ?
DUSTY> i tell them that i do lots of classic and new style magic tricks....have the birthday child to help perform some of the magic and i have a host of puppet friends in on the act too.
LEE >and how have you gained your experience and showmanship ?
DUSTY >through lots of hard work and planning...devising an ideal show with scripts and the right combination of tricks and comedy to suit the whole family.
LEE >did it take you long to find the right measures for a good show ?
DUSTY>well you have to study your audience....watch for expressions...listen for laughter and gasps of excitement and how loud the applause is and of course future bookings from that show.......it does take a little while to give each trick or routine charecter which as to be accepted by your audience and of course myself.
LEE >how would you rate your show ?
DUSTY >im happy with it because i get the right reaction from the audience.
LEE >do you think they leave the party satisfied after seeing your show ?
DUSTY >yes...because both adults and children come to you at the end and want to know how certain tricks were done...or they will show you a trick...or ask for info on how to get into magic.
LEE >so the final word.......why book DUSTY ?
DUSTY>because my shows are different....and i offer a purse friendly show that as the same standard as a entertainer who as been performing for many years...i put my heart and soul into every show.
LEE>i have seen your shows many times and they are a thrill to watch....time,effort and lots of fun put into each one......thanks dusty.
